Martabat: Journal of Women and Children is a journal for scientific publication which is run by Center of Gender and Children's Studies (PSGA) IAIN Tulungagung. Journal of Martabat publish every six months in the form of printed and electronic. Martabat provides a theoretical and research study of women and children's issues resulting in new perspectives. Martabat presents a critical reflection on the theory and practice of feminism and children in various contexts. <![CDATA[Early childhood development is classified in rapid development, including physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and moral development. Moral is the derivation of the Latin word plural of "Mores", which can be translated manners or customs. Parents and teachers are always thinking of exactly how to apply discipline to children from their toddlers to childhood and to their teens. The purpose of discipline is to direct children to learn about good things that are a preparation for adulthood, as they rely heavily on self-discipline. Hopefully, someday their self-discipline will make them happy, successful and loving. The pleasure of seeing the child's success and the disappointment of seeing their bad attitude is the most effective tool in applying discipline to children. <![CDATA[This descriptive qualitative research is aimed to describe the efforts made by the head of KB ABACA Bumiayu to increase the satisfaction of the parents in early children education service through motherly leadership practice. The data in this research is collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The data has been collected and then analyzed using data analysis technique inductively. The results showed that basically the practice of motherly leadership by the head of KB ABACA Bumiayu is a lead way that focuses on providing early childhood services to meet the wishes, needs and expectations of guardians. Satisfaction will be gained by the guardians when their needs, desires, and expectations can be achieved. To be able to produce early childhood services that can satisfy the guardian, the head of KB ABACA actualize the four characters of a mother, namely trustworthy or trustworthy, responsible, diligent, and caring. <![CDATA[.Low income and job opportunity brings some women in Kecamatan Sendang to carry mobility to overseas to be TKW. Each mobility is done because characteristics demographic, social and economic of TKW. Every migrant who has worked in migration abroad has the characteristics and conditions as a whole can provide information about motivation of TKW to be a employee woment in other country. The aims of this study are describe the characteristics of demographic, social, economic of TKW. This research is descriptive research using survey method. The population in this study is the TKW in the Kecamatan Sendang who had been worked abroad and its amount about 138 respondents. The sample which is taken as many as 100 respondents by proportional random sampling. Analysis of the data that is used single-tabulation analysis and percentage to obtain the general description of each variable. This research shows that the demographic characteristics, social and economic of TKW are evenly they have an productive age in marital status, having an education at least junior high school or equivalent, type of preliminary work as housewives without personal income and family income is low that is Rp.300.000,00-<Rp.400.000,00 and family burden was 1-3 person. ]]>

<![CDATA[Masa anak-anak memilki peran yang penting dalam proses pembentukan karakter, pada fase ini pengalaman yang diterima anak akan berpengaruh dominan pada karakternya hingga dewasa. Salah satu karakter yang terbentuk di masa ini adalah kepercayaan diri, suatu keyakinan dalam diri anak bahwa ia mampu menampilkan perilaku tertentu atau mencapai target tertentu. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi terbentuknya percaya diri, salah satunya dengan pemberian pujian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganilisis pembentukan kepercayaan diri anak melalui pemberian pujian. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan ganda atau mix methode. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa pujian memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan rasa pecaya diri pada anak dengan analisis data statistik didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 3.04 > 1.686 dan nilai signifikan variable constant yang lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas 0.004 < 0.005. Analisis secara kualitatif menampilkan bahwa pemberian pujian pada anak memberikan pengaruh yang positiif dalam proses pembentukan rasa percaya dirinya. Pujian dari orang tua, keluarga dan lingkungan menjadi motivator bagi anak untuk berani menampilkan dirinya dan terhindar dari rasa takut gagal. Pujian menjadi salah satu pemenuhan atas kebutuhan anak akan adanya penghargaan dan pengakuan atas dirinya. Kata kunci : percaya diri, anak, pujian.]]>

<![CDATA[The emergence cases of dating violence in the last few decades is increasingly furious of human rights activists. Moreover dating violence cases camuflage in love. Diversity mode of violence had happened make a potrey that emergency condition in our patriarchal society. The cases of dating violence hadi been quoted by National Commision of women increasing from 2015 to 2017 full more than 3000 cases. Unfortunately, violence targeting anyone, include educated society. According to national women’s commision record there are 700 cases happend among students. Reflecting from the case there is a lame over the paradigm of dating. Even in the academic space there are still such deviant practices. Among them, the imagination of courtship, dating orientation and memaknai dating with a patriarchal point of view. To understand how the inequality occurs then the researcher uses qualitative methods, with in-depth and open interviews. Interviews were conducted to five resource persons who had been victims or perpetrators of violence in courtship. The result of the paradigm about dating is influenced by the media that presents a way to relate to the principle of love. In fact there are resource persons who forced his girlfriend to obey the imagination of women like in a movie that he had watched. Cases experienced by resource persons are so diverse. Starting from psychic violence, orientation and even physical. In the eyes of CEDAW the first article explains that any form of gender based violence is not justified in the name of human rights. Therefore, forms of violence based on love are time to end by educating the introduction of a healthy courtship. Either through institution or one by one. <![CDATA[Trafficking merupakan kejahatan yang sudah terjadi sejak zaman jahiliyah. Perdagangan perempuan dan anak-anak sering kali ditemukan, karena perempuan dan anak-anak dianggap kaum yang lemah dan kerap kali terpinggirkan. Faktor kemiskinan yang menimpa perempuan-perempuan dan anak-anak yang ada di desa merupakan penyebab terbesar terjadinya perdagangan perempuan dan anak-anak, sehingga banyak oknum yang memanfaatkan keberadaan mereka. Oleh sebab itulah penulis mengkaji hadis-hadis yang berhubungan dengan perdagangan manusia yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan historis dan pendekatan bahasa. Secara eksplisit tidak ditemukan hadis-hadis yang melarang perdagangan perempuan dan anak-anak, namun penulis menganalisis hadis-hadis mengenai perbudakan dan hadis-hadis lain yang relevan yang mengarah pada pelarangan perdagangan perempuan dan anak-anak. Kajian hadis tentang trafficking woman and child kebanyakan dihubungkan dnegan perbudakan, karena pada zaman jahiliyah perdagangan perempuan dan anak-anak kebanyakan adalah untuk dijadikan budak, bahkan mereka dijual untuk melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang sangat kotor. Hal ini juga terjadi pada zaman sekarang. Banyak perempuan dan anak-anak yang dijual untuk memenuhi nafsu laki-laki, oleh karena itu penulis berusaha mengkaji hadis yangberhubungan dengan trafficking woman and child yang sering kali menjadi korban.]]>

<![CDATA[The world experiences massive fundamental changes as a result of the digital era. Not only in the field of technology and communication, changes also occur in children's daily behavior. Various shows that are not good can be accessed easily by children and can cause negative behavioral effects on children. Supervision is needed from parents to guide children so that negative impacts can be minimized. The problem that occurs is that most parents are confused about what should be done to prepare children to face their environment. Planting religious values from an early age is expected to be one of the strongholds of children facing change. This study aims to describe the cultivation of religious values from an early age in a digital era filled with h extraordinary challenges through several strategies of planting religious values such as understanding parents 'responsibilities, parents' commitment to children, and learning from the noblest example in Islam. <![CDATA[Literary works are divided into several types, some of which are included in children's literature and some are included in the category of adult literature. The fundamental difference between these two works is the content and segmentation of the reader. The purpose of children's literature, in general, is an entertainment and media for them to learn and develop their interest in writing. Please note that children's literature has two broad lines based on the author. There are children's literary works that are made by children and for children to read as well. There is more children's literature created by adults. Good literature, in the sense of literary works that have learning value, must contain gender-sensitive values. The meaning of gender-sensitive is that children learn as early as possible to respect each other even if they come from other genders. What the child reads will be one of the factors causing the development of the child's identity. Therefore, as far as possible, children must be given an early understanding and understanding regarding gender sensitive children's literature. For this reason, this study then discusses the work of children's literature that has been published. Only a few samples were skinned to find out to what extent, children's literature was able to tolerate the existence of other types of gender that also coexisted in society.]]>

<![CDATA[The internet offers a lot of convenience and comfort in human civilization. This can at least be seen in the digital economy, artificial intelligence, big data, robotic, and so on. Even so, the internet can also have a negative impact if the utilization is not appropriate. One of them is online games for children. Children who are addicted to online games tend to spend more time playing games than socializing with their peers. In addition, several online games also present content that is harmful to children's growth and development, such as pornography and violence. This study aims to analyze the addictive effects of online games on child aggressive. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. The results showed that addiction online game Mobile Legend: Bang-Bang has a significant effect on children's aggressiveness, with statistical data analysis results obtained that the higher the level of child addiction to online games, the higher the level of aggressiveness of the child.]]>
